Is Superbasket free?
Yes. Superbasket is free with three receipt scans a month and every feature included. Superbasket Plus (£1.99 a month or £14.99 a year) unlocks unlimited scans.
Which supermarkets does it work with?
Any UK supermarket receipt: Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Aldi, Lidl, Morrisons, Waitrose, Co-op, M&S and Iceland, plus smaller shops. Online orders can be forwarded by email.
How does the receipt scan work?
Photograph the items list on the receipt (not the barcode). Superbasket reads every item name, price and discount in a few seconds, then compares them with the last time you bought the same things at that shop.
Can I share it with my partner?
Yes. Create a household and share a six-character code. You both see the same shopping lists, spending and budget, updated in real time.
Is my data private?
Your receipts are yours. Sharing anonymised prices to build the UK inflation watch is opt-in and can be switched off at any time in Settings.
